Re-registered from 371 HCR before entering service, this bus entered service in March 1965, and was the penultimate 27' 6" Regent. It was chosen to be painted in pre-war Corporation ivory and blue livery to celebrate the undertakings centenary. This bus was re-numbered 100, and was sign written with the lettering Southampton Corporation Motor Service. The paintwork was completed with gold and black lining. After withdrawal in 1979 it was preserved by the corporation, and maintain by the 7164 group. In August 1980 the bus was painted back into red livery and reverted to fleet number 371. When the Transport Department became an ‘arms length’ company in August 1986 it continued to preserve the bus until the undertaking was sold to First Group. It is now stored awaiting to be restored
