337 was new in 1963 and was based at Portswood. It was used on routes 11/11A, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Withdrawn and sold to Booths (dealer) in Rotherham in 1977 where it was sold to a private buyer where it became a dental laboratory and travelled over Europe. 337 also saw use with Petersfield Social Club.

After years of being untraced, 337 was found to be in the south of France at ABC School of English, where it carried the registration '123 BYE 06'. In early 2010, a deal was done to bring 337 back to England, RM1321 – 321 CLT was swapped with 337. RM1321 was driven from Southampton to the south of France where 337 was found and the exchange was made. Then the journey was started to bring 337 back home to Southampton. On its return, 337 has been repainted into Southampton livery and in September 2013 returned to the road at the The Mighty Regents Running Day in the City.
